SELFAGO

Welcome, bienvenue and welcome to all interested parties of SELFAGO, the European Society of French and German Language for Gynecology and Obstetrics. SELFAGO, which emerged from the German-French Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics founded almost 50 years ago, had set itself the task of bringing together members of professional societies for gynecology and obstetrics, both professionally and personally, in the German-French linguistic area of Europe, i.e., particularly in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Belgium. With this objective, SELFAGO has regularly participated in national, but also

international European congress events on gynecology and obstetrics with an independent scientific program. Over the years, close scientific as well as personal, friendly connections have developed, which have proven to be resilient even under difficult conditions, such as during the Corona period from 2020 to 2022.

In the course of the rapprochement of countries in Europe, which is taking place despite some political difficulties, and the increasing enlargement of the European Union, SELFAGO will also continue to open up and therefore warmly welcomes all interested members from non-German-French speaking areas in Europe.
